We must admit, it's looking pretty good!
You can see all the pictures of Raffle Bus 34 showing the progress we’ve made since day one.

Bus will be raffled off on Saturday, Sept. 20th at 4:30 pm. Raffle tickets are only $1 each.

No Wristband - No Bus!

Our Awesome Raffle Bus Sponsors

Raffle Prizes

Along with our Raffle Bus, we also raffle off smaller items. All raffle tickets purchased are used for both the smaller items and our main event, the Raffle Bus #34.

All donations will be listed on the Image Slider (coming soon), including who donated the item, along with the information they would like listed. We will announce both businesses and individuals during the raffle.

Here’s how you can help:

  1. Print the Donation Letter.
  2. Talk with businesses and give them the Donation Letter so they have our Non-Profit FEIN Number and more information about our event and charity.
  3. If you receive a donation from a business, email us at info@arizonabusclub.net to arrange drop off or pick-up, or bring the item to a General Meeting.

Any questions, please email us at info@arizonabusclub.net with "Raffle Donation" in the subject line.

FAQs

Have a question that's not listed? Please let us know and we'll add it to our FAQs.

When is the Arizona Bus Club Jamboree?

Sept. 18-21, 2025

What's the best route to the Jamboree?

Please see Directions & Map. We want everyone to use the route we recommend instead of using Google Maps. Google Maps will try to find the shortest route, but it's definitely not the best route. DO NOT take Exit 331 off I-17 (Kelly Canyon Rd.). It is used by huge logging trucks and is extremely bumpy. The only exit off I-17 to use is Exit 339 (Lake Mary Rd).

Coming from the North, the route turning onto Crismon Rd off Lake Mary Road is also very bumpy. Instead, keep driving SE on Lake Mary Rd until you reach Mormon Lake Rd. We will have road signs to help guide you from there.

Can I bring my open wood fire pit?

NO! The only fire pits allowed are propane fire pits per the Playa Ponderosa for fire safety. We also recommend having a fire extinguisher as well.

Can I bring a generator?

The only generators allowed are quiet closed inverter-style generators and they must be turned off by 11pm. No open loud generators!

What is the weather like?

Average temperatures range from 74-82° during the day and low to mid 40s overnight. We will update as we get closer to the event. Make sure you bring warm bedding and clothing and don't forget we'll have Full Zip Hoodies or Pullover Sweatshirts available at the registration tent.

How much is it to camp?

How much is it to walk In?

$10 per person, under 18 is FREE (good for all three days).

How much are raffle tickets?

$1 - Don't forget you must be wearing a valid event wristband and be present to win. NO WRISTBAND - NO BUS!

Are VW Class B allowed?

Yes, all vehicles are allowed, however, VWs will have prime tree camping. See Grounds Map.

Can I bring a pop-up trailer?

Yes. A small pop-up trailer will be charged as a vehicle, however, your vehicle will have to be parked at the Day Use parking area. You will be allowed 20 minutes to drop off your pop-up trailer.

Do I need to be there to win?

Yes! You must be present and wearing a valid event wristband. NO WRISTBAND - NO BUS!

Do you accept credit cards?

NO, this is a cash-only event as the cell service is spotty depending what service you have. The food trucks and vendors might have credit card capability, but there's no guarantee, so plan on having cash on hand.

Can I bring a non-VW camper?

Yes. See Camping & Entrance Fees, along with the Grounds Map.

Can I camp in my non-VW car?

No camping is allowed in the Day Use parking area. Non VW's and tents can camp in the areas labeled VW and Non-VW Camping. See Camping & Entrance Fees.

Can I camp with my friends as a group?

Sure, keep in mind tent camping is the same price as VW camping.

Can non-VW's camp?

Yes, please see the Grounds Map. You can also set up a tent, but your vehicle needs to be parked in the Day Use Parking area. NO Camping is allowed in the Day Use Parking area, and remember tent camping is the same fee as all other camping vehicles. See Camping & Entrance Fees

Can I camp under a tree in a tent?

Yes, but you will be charged the same fee as a camping vehicle. See Camping & Entrance Fees

Do I need a Fire Extinguisher?

Yes. Each camping VW/RV/Tent needs to have a fire extinguisher. We will be in the middle of a forest. We realize most VW folks keep one in their vehicle for fire safety.

What year VWs are allowed in the event?

All VWs are allowed.

Will there be food vendors/trucks?

Yes, see our Food Trucks.

Will there be a bar or alcohol?

No, bring your own beverages.

Will there be ice available to purchase?

YES! We will have large bags of ice available for $10 (while supplies last).

Will there be Porta Potties?

YES! We will have 45 standard porta potties, 2 ADA (Americans with Disabilities) porta potties, and 7 hand washing stations.

Is there water available?

Please bring your own water. There may be water bottles you can purchase from one of the food vendors, but to be safe, bring your own water. If that changes, we will update here.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes. We invite well-mannered quiet dogs that are on a leash at all times and we ask that owners pick up after their pets. Please keep in mind we will be in the middle of the Coconino National Forest where coyotes and other wildlife live, however, it shouldn’t be a problem with a large event like ours, but please don’t let your dog out at night to go to the bathroom without being on a leash. Just a precaution.

Can I bring my bike?

Yes, please keep it no more than 5 mph max and no motorized mini-bikes. Oh, and remember each night around 8pm we'll be riding bikes around the Playa, so bring something to light up your bike or yourself. 🚲

Can I bring a mini motor bike?

NO

Can I bring an electric bike?

Yes, but keep it at a maximum of 5 mph, and again, no motorized bikes. Don't forget to bring something to light up your bike or yourself for the evening rides around the Playa. 🚲

Are there showers available?

No

Medical & First Aid

We will have medical on site. More information to come.

Security

There will be on-site security.

General Parking

See Day Use Parking on our Jamboree Grounds Map.

Directions & Map

Use your navigation to get to Point 1 or B using Lake Mary Rd. from the north or south. Turn at the intersection of Lake Mary Rd. & Mormon Lake Rd.(north of Mormon Lake).
Mormon Lake Rd. is a horseshoe and there's also
 a southern entrance.
Use the north entrance. Follow the signs.

  • Do not plug the Playa Ponderosa address into Google. IT WILL MOST LIKELY SEND YOU ON A BAD ROUTE!
  • Do not use any exit along I-17 when heading north from Phoenix except Exit 339 (Lake Mary Rd.).
  • Do not turn onto Crismon Rd. off of Lake Mary Rd. This is a bumpy route.
